Nicole
Owner/Stylist

Nicole has been providing professional hair services in the Old Bridge area for over 30 years. She had always dreamed of owning her own salon where all were welcomed, comfortable, and left looking beautiful and feeling like family. In September of 2014 she brought her dream to fruition and opened NikkiSnips Hair Salon. Nicole began her industry education in the Old Bridge High School Cosmetology program. She continually attends classes to keep up with the latest trends and styles. She is an Ecru NY Specialist, Certified Magic Sleek Specialist, Keratin Specialist, and has been a stylist for New York Fashion Week, just to name a few of her many accomplishments.

When Nicole isn’t focusing on the salon, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons. She enjoys spending time with family next to her koi pond on her happy little hobby farm. Nicole is extremely proud of her two oldest boys who have graduated college and begun their careers, as well as her youngest who is in college currently. Nicole has always been an active member of the community, volunteering and offering financial support to many local youth and community organizations for more than 20 years. Nicole continually supports the Old Bridge High School Cosmetology program by offering annual senior scholarships, additional education opportunities for the students, and employment opportunities to graduates. Nicole is passionate about growing her salon and assisting her staff to become masters of their craft.

Stephanie
Salon Manager / Stylist

Stephanie joined the NikkiSnips family in 2015 and has been happy to call it home ever since. She is passionate about her career, and making her clients feel beautiful is her number one priority. Throughout her 15 years in the industry, she has earned a Magic Sleek Certification, Hair Extension Certification, and Keratin Complex Certification, and has attended extensive training in other areas to ensure that she provides the highest level of service to her clients. One of her many specialties is performing blonding services. She has also worked at New York Fashion Week and was granted the opportunity of providing services for the models. She is always continuing her education and evolving with industry trends. Stephanie places high value on listening to her clients’ needs and delivering the exact look they desire.

When Stephanie is not tending to her clients, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and the rest of her family.

Maria
Stylist & Rezo / Curly Hair Specialist

Maria has won over her clients not only with her talent, but with her caring and upbeat personality. She has a genuine interest in her clients and especially likes to ensure that first-time clients feel as welcome and comfortable as possible. Having earned her license at Monmouth County Vocational school, she has been in the industry since 2007, and joined the NikkiSnips team in 2018. Maria is a Rezo Specialist and is an expert at cutting curly hair using this technique. She is an Oligo color specialist, a Babylight enthusiast, and has a talent for men’s cuts as well. Maria is passionate about the industry and uses her creativity to give each client their desired look. Maria takes all the new assistants to the salon under her wing and conducts extensive training with them so that our clients can receive the best salon experience possible.

During her time away from the salon, she enjoys spending time and traveling with her family.

Evelyn
Stylist

Evelyn came to NikkiSnips with over 20 years of experience. She began her training at the Wilfred Academy and throughout the years has continued her education to keep up with the latest styles and trends. She specializes in precision haircuts, color, highlights, and blowouts. Being in the industry allows Evelyn to express her creativity and it is rewarding for her knowing that her clients leave her chair looking their best and feeling good about themselves.

Evelyn’s personal interests include diet in nature, yoga and meditation, painting and sketches, and spending time with family and friends.

Gia
Stylist

Gia joined NikkiSnips in 2022.
Gia has been a stylist for over 18 years and has always had a passion for hair and making people look and feel their best. She loves being behind the chair creating styles and building a bond with each of her clients. Gia specializes in balayage, color, highlights, Babylight, smoothing techniques, perms, and extensions. She enjoys doing bridal work and being a part of the bride’s special day. Gia always continues to educate herself so that she can provide her clients with the best possible service.

When Gia isn’t busy beautifying her clients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.

Nagia
Stylist, Make Up Artist

With over 20 years of experience, Nagia joined the NikkiSnips family in 2021 after moving to the area from New York. We are fortunate to have her expertise in color, highlights, and advanced cutting techniques. Her education includes Midway Paris Beauty School (2001), New York Make up Academy (2011), and training under Yeliz Kaya who is well known for her expertise in special occasion styles. Nagia is one of our talented make-up artists and enjoys doing bridal and special occasion work at the salon.

During her time away from the salon she enjoys exploring the Matawan / Old Bridge area with her husband and sons.

Lisa Marie
Stylist

Creative, versatile, and passionate about her craft, Lisa Marie has established herself as a successful hairstylist over the past 23 years. Ever since she was a little girl doing hair and make-up on her dolls, she knew what she was destined to do. She decided to pursue her dream of beauty directly after graduating high school. After completing beauty school, she began studying with experienced stylists from Redken, Scruples, Oligo, and Matrix just to name a few. She continues her education to keep up with the latest styles and trends. Lisa Marie specializes in color, highlights, and creating dimension in the hair. She is always focused on her customers and consistently delivers amazing, well crafted, and flattering colors and cuts tailored to each of them.

Lisa Marie also worked with the owner Nicole for many years before joining her in her own salon at NikkiSnips.

Mia
Stylist / Make-up Artist

Mia joined NikkiSnips in 2021 while completing her training in the Old Bridge Cosmetology program. She began as an assistant and make-up artist while in her junior year. After graduation, her never-ending desire for knowledge and growth was noticed immediately. She quickly learned from the other talented stylists in the salon and earned her place on the floor. Mia continually attends classes to expand her knowledge and will soon be certified for hair extensions. She is a very talented make-up artist and is amazing at balayage, highlights and creating fun new looks for her clients.

When Mia is not at NikkiSnips she enjoys spending time with family and loves traveling with friends.

Salon Assistants

Our salon could not function without our awesome support staff. Whether they are pampering you with a great wash at the sinks, getting you ready for your stylist, or completing the many behind the scenes tasks that help the salon run smoothly, these girls are the best! They all have recently completed, or are in the process of completing, their training to become licensed cosmetologists. We are blessed to be a part of their journey and are excited to help train and watch them grow to become amazing stylists in the future.
